======From bobfranke@halcyon.com:There is a lot of great detail here that I could not see without messing with the gamma. I would like to see more ambient light in the room and softer shadows. I especially like the icicles and the outside landscape. These subtle additions really make the image work.I sure hope Santa makes it. He looks like he may be stuck.

=====From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se:Very nice, I especially like the fire forks and the christmas tree, and the boots of course. However, the shadows in the corner are very sharp - I think softer shadows, and perhaps some extra details around the windows, would make this image perfect

.=====From dick@buckosoft.com:I like the icicles on the outside. Very nice touch.

=====From gmccarter@hotmail.com:Definitely looks like a lot of effort went into this scene. Very good job. Iespecially like the fireplace tools, the clock, the reflection of the tree in the window, and the bits of magic around Santa. Child is a little bit too tall.

=====From djconnel@flash.net:Nice job! More use could be made of texture -- everything looks a bit plastic. However, the composition and the lighting add a lot to the presence of the scene -- very nice!

=====From ethelm@bigfoot.com:Very cute, good idea, nice detail.

=====From 101741.541@compuserve.com:good composition, especially on the right side.the tree and gifts have credibility.the window is much too simplistic, and really can't exist that way in reality. Take a look at a real window, and you'll see how complex it is.

=====From blaineholmes@hotmail.com:Nice scene, the lighting is nice.

=====From wozzeck@club-internet.fr:Another good idea. Lighting could have been better using several different colours in the tree, with area lights.

===== From clem@dhol.com:I am impressed by the realistic icicles and the play of shadows and lights from the tree.

=====From r@haka.saunalahti.fi:The lighting is just marvellous, giving the scene that fairy-tale look. The low detail level in the tree works well in this image. The only weakness I spotted were Santa's boots, which look distinctly sPatchy - some wrinkles and a little less highlights might help.Notable for modelling, lighting

=====From r@ppp048.worldy.com:Amazing idea! The tree and the little girl both look great! The ONLY thing that I have a small problem with is the colours on the celeing...how can I say it, they look a little blocky. I'm not sure where that light is coming from either. The tree? But great image!Notable for textures, modelling, originality, composition
